Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris

Méandre storms home!

Méandre, who is owned by the Rothschild family, trained by André Fabre and
ridden by Maxime Guyon, displayed an astonishing burst of acceleration to run
away with the Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris 2011.
Festivities include the famous Garden Party by Night, floodlit evening races, numerous horse-themed activities for kids, and a club night with free concerts, video show and DJ sets for adults, all in the majestic setting of Longchamp racecourse.

Led by several lengths from the start by Seville and Treasure Beach, Méandre
put in an astonishing burst of speed as he came around the final bend to make
up for lost ground and storm past the post in first place. Seville came in second
and Reliable Man, who took the laurels in the recent Prix du Jockey Club,
finished third ahead of Treasure Beach.

Méandre, a horse of exceptional quality, was therefore crowned winner of this exciting edition of the Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris.

We look forward to seeing you on 14th July 2012 for the next Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris!
